Knosp is designated a fellow of the American Medical Informatics Association

Boyd Knosp, MS, associate dean for information technology and associate director for biomedical informatics, has been awarded the designation of Fellow of the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA). This achievement signals to patients, employers, and colleagues that Knosp is an expert in evidence-based informatics practice.

Fellows of AMIA are engaged with their community and life-long learners who apply the latest advances in informatics to improve health and health care.

Knosp will be honored at the AMIA 2020 Clinical Informatics Conference in May where he will be formally inducted into the Fellowship of AMIA.

The AMIA selected 154 professionals to join the FAMIA this year.
