Welcome to the Institute for Clinical and Translational Science (ICTS) at the University of Iowa.
The Iowa Board of Regents formed ICTS in 2007 as a way to build a thriving translational research enterprise and to improve the health of Iowans. ICTS continues to transform biomedical research and accelerate the translation of medical discoveries into treatments.
ICTS engages communities and trains the next generation of clinical and translational investigators to advance medicine.
Our mission is to catalyze innovative clinical and translational research that leads to measurable improvements in the health of Iowa and the nation.
To do so, ICTS continues to transform clinical and translational research, provide resources and training to investigators, and engage community members and stakeholders.
