Summary

Informatics Consulting                  Get connected and started with the right resources for information technologies and informatics. Receive help managing IT for your research project and coordinating technologies. Request help designing data sharing, security plans and IRB data planning for your project or grant and/or implementation services.
REDCap Tools, support and training for research teams to securely capture and manage research data.
Bio-Medical Research Data Request Provides custom data extracts from our EMR and access to other data available through the Clinical Research Data Warehouse (CRDW). Use the TriNetX service to explore the data you are interested in for your research.
TriNetX A global health research network that enables their users to collaborate, enhance trial design, accelerate patient recruitment, and bring new therapies to market faster.
UI BioSHARE Provides researchers access to software application to manage and house research subject and sample data. 
Epic Studies & Subjects Register research studies in Epic to allow for the capture of clinical data from the EMR and other automated data services.
Application Development Develop custom tools (web and mobile applications) to better manage your research data process and analysis.
Systems & Storage Administration Receive help with your Linux or Mac OS X systems, maintaining consistency form machines, and options for additional resources.

What we do

Biomedical Informatics advances translational science regionally and nationally by providing informatics support services, developing innovative tools, and leveraging existing information technology resources.

  • Enable the use of informatics and information technology to engage: patients, community organizations, clinicians, health systems, and researchers
  • Integrate research and practice throughout the different phases of translational science
  • Adopt proven technologies and create new tools to enhance research and impact
