What we do

Biomedical Informatics advances translational science regionally and nationally by providing informatics support services, developing innovative tools, and leveraging existing information technology resources.

  • Train investigators to capitalize on biomedical data to advance their research
  • Enable the use of informatics and information technology to engage: patients, community organizations, clinicians, health systems, and researchers
  • Integrate research and practice throughout the different phases of translational science
  • Adopt proven technologies and create new tools to enhance research and impact
