Translational Immunotherapy for Prostate

The seminar, "Translational Immunotherapy for Prostate" will be presented by David M. Lubaroff, PhD, Professor of Urology  & Microbiology, Associate Director, Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center and Daniel A. Vaena MD, Associate Professor of Internal Medicine and Urology, Director, Iowa City VAMC  Hematology-Oncology Section.

Drs. Lubaroff and Vaena will describe both preclinical studies on the development of a therapeutic vaccine for prostate cancer and the results of a completed Phase I clinical trial in men with advanced prostate cancer. An ongoing Phase II clinical trial will also be presented and discussed.
